Some residents choose to cash in along with the shops and bars, but others dislike the disruption and fear expansion plans will make it worse

For two weeks every summer, Wimbledon stops being just a London suburb and becomes the home of the world's most prestigious tennis tournament.
Residents don't always share in the enthusiasm of the half a million visitors who head to the championships. Some are furious about the queue spiralling out of control, the park being used as a public toilet and an expansion they don't want.
Others are more into the spirit of things. On the walk from Southfields and Wimbledon stations, people have set up stalls at the end of their drives with homemade cakes and cool drinks.
